The new year finds us with new challanges to face. I know we are facing challanges
we as a Union have never faced before. But, we are not afraid to step up and face them.
The contract
fight is still on going, but has now been pushed mostly to the International level. Plans are still in the works
to keep the local people active and informed.
I will keep you updated on the plans as soon as they
are finalized, which should be very soon. It is very important to maintain focus on the big picture.
I know the recent lay-offs and such have upset alot of our schedules. Although it is a busy time of year and
cold, the informational pickets are schedule to continue, weather permitting, every Monday until further notice.
