Local 193g is a charter member of the
United Steel Workers of America-AFL-CIO-CLC , International Union, in which we represent the workers at PPG Wks. 14 Flat
Glass Plant, in Mt. Zion, Il.
Local 193g has approx. 180
members, many of which are 2nd & 3rd generation glassworkers.
Many Central
Illinois communities are represented by our members and many are volunteers in their local communitties' administrations,
churches, schools, youth activities and more.
